2021 got off to a good start with successful fundraising activities including Kiltwalk, community and digital fundraising and a crowdfunder with Aviva Community Fund. We’re so grateful to the volunteers, businesses and individuals who have given up time and money to invest in Renfrewshire’s young people.

So far this year:

  • In February, we launched our Aviva Community Fund crowd fundraiser, where over £415 was raised to support our work in Linwood. We’re grateful to all those who donated and the generosity of Aviva and employees.
  • In March, we held a virtual raffle. Big thanks to Brew Coffee Shop in Paisley who kindly donated a Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea and to the Renfrewshire community buying a ticket, raising an amazing £99.
  • In early April, Starbucks Linwood organised their own Sponsored Litter Pick! Some of the team went out to Barshaw Park and carried out a litter pick as part of giving back to the community, as well as getting sponsored for it. They raised a fantastic £90! Thanks Starbucks!
  • On the weekend of the 23-25 April, we took part in Virtual Kiltwalk with walkers from Starbucks in Paisley and Johnstone, Gryffe High School and our staff team. The money raised will be topped up by 50% by the Sir Tom Hunter Foundation raising £4156.50 to date.

We’re also really excited to launch our new Community Fundraising Pack. Click below to find out more.
