Our impact
Create Paisley is an arts charity working with vulnerable children and young people in Renfrewshire, using creativity to change lives and create hope.
In 2025-26 almost half our participants (45%) were living in the 20% most deprived areas in Scotland. Too many young people locally are struggling with isolation and poor mental health, and a lack of access to positive, fun activities.
We exist to change that.
In 2025-26 we engaged 542 unique participants…
…in 308 arts-based sessions…
…resulting in 3,411 attendances!
Geo’s story
“I have been a young volunteer since the beginning of March and have ranged between one and two groups a week which has helped me to learn new skills such as communication, teamwork and planning skills.
I have also had a massive boost in confidence due to the experiences I have taken part in.”
The difference we make
A recent participant survey sought to understand our impact. At Create Paisley:
- 85% felt better about their mental health and wellbeing
- 88% reported feeling more connected to other people and the local community
- 91% reported having developed their creative skills
