Find support

At Create Paisley, safety is the foundation of creativity. We believe that creative expression can only truly flourish in an environment that is secure, inclusive, and supportive.

You have the right to be safe

We believe that every young person has the right to explore their creativity, learn new skills, and have fun in a space where they feel completely safe and respected.

Whether you are at a drop-in session, a workshop, or a collaborative event, your wellbeing is our top priority.

We listen to you

Create Paisley is built on your ideas and your energy. We know that to support you best, we have to listen to the challenges and experiences you face in your daily life.

Your opinions shape how we run our events and how we keep you safe.

What you can expect from us

  • Respect: To be treated with dignity and fairness.
  • A Safe Space: A judgment-free environment where bullying or harm is not tolerated.
  • Support: A team that listens if you are worried about something here, at home, or anywhere else.
  • If you are worried: If something doesn’t feel right, or if you are worried about yourself or a friend, please speak to a member of our team. We are here to listen and help you find the support you need.

Our Wellbeing Charter

The charter represents an incredible piece of work, developed entirely by young people across our groups.

Through a series of consultations, young people took the lead. They identified the themes that matter most and set the expectations for how we treat each other, how our staff show up, and how we create safe spaces.

In keeping with our commitment to youth voice, the young people did not just provide the words, they designed all the imagery for the charter. The final product is a vibrant and authentic showcase of their talent and proves just how much they value having a safe, supportive space at Create Paisley.
