One random day, a teenage boy is going for a walk and comes across a random place he’s never seen before. He realises he’s entered the Braes which is the only place he can breathe and not constantly worry about everything.
Until he ends up at the top of a waterfall and his mind starts to get louder and louder, he takes a step forward then suddenly he wakes up in his bed, realising it was a dream. But he decides to go there when he’s awake, and one thing leads to another… he does exactly what happened in the dream.
The next day he wakes up. Unsure what happened, but he is in the hospital. It seems as if he fell off the top of the waterfall. A few moments later he gets this excruciating pain in his back and stomach. The nurse walks in with his parents and he tries to talk but they don’t hear him so he tries to scream – still nothing.
He finally stands up to realise he is dead, he’s a ghost. He’s in shock and scared ‘cause there is no way he is actually dead. He proceeds to take a few steps, that lead into the hallway. The teenager sees his parents crying, and he tries to comfort them.
His mum says, did you feel that breeze?
All of a sudden he wakes up in his bed, sweating and terrified for his life. He goes into his parents’ room and sees something in the dark, with a shiny object. He looks to his parents’ bed. The teenager is sick to his stomach…
